MEETING OF THE ALSTONEFIELD PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON THURSDAY 2ND
AUGUST 2007 AT THE VILLAGE HALL, ALSTONEFIELD

Correspondence
1. A letter to be written to David Knox to ascertain if there
was any further information required.
A letter to be sent to Graham Smith of the
Information Commissioner’s Office thanking him for his communication and
attaching a copy of the letter to David Knox

2. Following a letter from Mr Frank Lipp it was agreed that
he be co-opted onto the Parish Council

Group is to be put on the next Agenda for consideration.
4. Further information was to be requested regarding the 30mph
sticky back signs for wheelie bins

5 Letters to be sent to the Peak District National Park
Authority and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council stating that
Alstonefield Parish Council approves of planning application NPSM06070581 for a
replacement garden studio, residential, ancillary to house at Riverside
Cottage, Mill Dale, Alstonefield.

ascertain if he has any objection to his remuneration being identified in the
minutes, as is his right under the Data Protection Act.

Council’s Association for the Clerk’s attendance.

his recent work as Acting Clerk to Alstonefield Parish Council.

14. Mr G Chapman advised that, as Mrs Binfield has in fact been
clerk since the 1st July 2007, he could therefore act as external
auditor for the annual audit 2006/2007.
This was agreed.
A letter to be sent to David Ingman to ask if
he would be prepared to audit the accounts for Alstonefield Parish Council for
the hear 2007/2008.

15. Annual Accounts - These were accepted subject to minor
typographical errors being amended and to be presented at the next meeting for
signature.

16. Administrative
Matters
All new signatories to the Parish Council bank
account must present their proofs of identity at the Ashbourne branch as soon
as possible.
17. Lengthman’s
Report
Agreed to publicise the overgrowth issue in the
Homestead Garden in the newsletter.
Mr Ross to obtain quotation for lawnmower
service.
Highway Authority – drain clearance, verge
cutting and the overgrowth down Millway Lane – Clerk to contact Highways

18. Playing Field
Committee Report
Play Area safety check list record checked.
Committee status and development of use of
playing field to be discussed at the next meeting.
19. The
date of the next meeting will be Thursday 13th September 2007 to
commence at 7.00pm in the village hall.
