The Alstonefield parish council meets monthly, it reports to the residents and to the Staffordshire Moorlands District Council. Informal meeetings are held in The George and the Village Hall between the formal ones

An annual ratepayers meeting is held so that feedback is received freely from parishioners.
Action Alstonefield, an action group meets as often as needed to receive more immediate suggestions and to give help in initiating improvements.
